Jamie Azpeitia-Sachs, Artistic Director/Founder

Jamie began her training in theater, ballet, and jazz at the age of 3. Having been trained by; Rosalie & Arthur Woodson, Marie De La Palme, Evette Demarco-Swinson, Diane Amendt, Julio Padilla, Gavin Navarro ,Gina Marume, Diamond Bar Fine Arts Academy, Inland Dance Academy, Claremont Children’s Theater, Sheila Jones, Juan Uribe, and Denise Donovan, and attended Chaminade University of Honolulu to study Dance, Pilates, Physical Therapy & Kinesiology, Jamie is well trained in dance, as well as injury prevention. “Annie”, “Grease”, “Mary Poppins”, “Guys & Dolls”, “Chicago”, “Swan Lake”, “The Nutcracker”, “The Secret Garden”, “The Glory of Easter” are just a few of the productions she has appeared in. At the age of 17, she choreographed 3 world tours. Jamie has run the Ballet Summer Intensive program for Bowen Hayes School of The Arts since 2007 where several of her students went on to dance with The Los Angeles Ballet, Debbie Allen Dance Academy, cast member of the critically acclaimed “Twist”, The Nutcracker, and child soloist for “The Glory of Christmas“. Her choreography has been requested to appear in numerous productions, including Mayor Patrick Morris’ Operation Phoenix. Jamie has taught in such areas as the Bangor Washington Navel Base, Ballet Mistress for Kristi's Forever Dancin in Riverside, City of Riverside School of the Arts Ballet Mistress, The Marume School of The Arts in Aiea Hawaii, FTP in Moreno Valley, and in The Riverside Unified School District’s Enrichment program. In addition to choreographing, and dancing, she has received numerous VIP invitations to appear at the Breast Cancer Research Foundations’ charity events, for outstanding efforts in helping to find a cure with the fundraising event “Dancing for a Cure” 2007, 2008, 2009 & 2010. She was nominated in 2008 as one of San Bernardino County’s Distinguished Women of the Year, & honored by the City of Grand Terrace in January 2012 for her scholarship program, fundraising, and contributions to the performing arts. In February 2012, she was a recipient of Assemblyman Mike Morrell, and the Inland Empire Magazine “Unforgettable Hearts” awards. Jamie has danced with the California Riverside Ballet, Hawaii State Ballet, Inland Dance Theater, Inland Empire Contemporary Ballet, and San Gorgonio Ballet. Most recently, Ballet Mistress, and Pilates instructor Kathryn Scarano issued an exclusive invitation to train in Pilates in closed session at her Riverside studio, Plexis Pilates. Jamie is an active student with the highly acclaimed TVI Actors Studio, the official Choreographer for the Miss Greater Inland Empire & Miss Greater Inland Empire's Outstanding teen pageant. In addition to studying Physical Therapy, Kinesiology, and Sports & Holistic Medicine for over 15 years, Jamie also holds a California VAPA Credential.
Angie J. Lopez, Dance Team Director
Angie Lopez has been Dancing since she was 2 years old, teaching & choreographing sinnce the age of 14, and trained by some of the world’s best instructors; Debra Kaye, Kalvin Latimere, Jackie Sleight, Michael Rooney, Joe Tremaine, Dante Seven, Eddie Garcia, Jo Quinones, Gloria Otero, Terry Best, Dante Seven, and Yanis Marshall just to name a few. She was born in raised in Riverside, CA and Graduated from Riverside Poly High School. She has won numerous choreography awards, as well as best costume, and an undeniable amount of special judge’s awards. She won Entertainment of the year with her award winning Contemporary piece in 2015. She has also been the choreographer for Riversides Ghost Walk since 2010, and a Choreographer/instructor for the Janet Goeske foundation’s Dancing with the stars I.E’s edition since 2007. Angie specializes in styles such as; Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Tap, Ballet, Salsa, Cha Cha, Clogging, and Cheer. She is the director/founder of the salsa dance company Danzanna Productions. She is a well-known Choreographer and Instructor in the Inland Empire. Angie takes her craft seriously, with passion, and love for all!

Teangelo Began dancing at a young age & went on to train with: Debbie Allen, Jamie Azpeitia-Sachs, Ailey, teach with Bowen-Hayes School of the Arts, Feel the Pressure, and has been honored with numerous excellence in talent awards! Tea as everyone calls him, is now a new media correspondent, internet radio host, and choreographer whose talents and works have been seen on entertainment's global stage. Teangelo began exploring the world of new media hosting when he realized he not only captivated audiences through the art of dance but also through his genius of story telling, commanding personality, crazy, yet fun antics and infectious positive energy. With EOTM Media Teangelo has covered several high profile events including the 42nd NAACP Image Awards Nominee Announcements, 42nd NAAPC Image Awards Luncheon and Gala, the red carpet pre show of the 83rd Academy Awards, The Black College Expo, and one on one interviews with the players of the Harlem Globetrotters, just to name a few. Through Teangelo'’s high energy and infectious personality, while in Time Square his talents were discovered by the producers of the leading voice over conference and competition, That's Voiceover. Teangelo went on to become the first roving reporter for the live event. Teangelo's celebrity profiles and interviews include Tia and Tamera Mowry, Sanaa Lathan, Kimberly Elise, Affion Crockett, Marvin Sapp, Marla Gibbs, T.C. Carson, Rudy Gaskins, Joan Baker, Nita Whittaker LaFontaine, Dawn Lewis, Michael Reel, Kel Mitchell, Lil Zane and many many more. With Teangelo's confidence and refreshing spirit, commanding an interview and gaining insightful information comes natural and with ease. Currently Teangelo is reaching the masses through his weekly internet radio talk show, The Kick it Spot, on www.EOTMradio.com. Also in development is Tea Time, a video blog - all while covering and attending some of Los Angeles’ premier and influential events. Teangelo remains diligent and determined, while in pursuit of obtaining his goal of becoming a sought after media personality...Tea is honored to return to Bowen-Hayes School of the Arts!
Morgan Davison, Ballet & Contemporary
Morgan has trained at Riverside Ballet Arts, Ballet Pacifica, University of Utah’s Department of Ballet (with its resident student company, Utah Ballet), and the Lou Conte Dance Studio in Chicago. She supplemented her training with summer intensives including Exploring Ballet with Suzanne Farrell, School of American Ballet, Ballet West, and the Lar Lubovitch Summer Intensive. Her teachers include Amanda McKerrow, Evelyn CisnerosLegate, Conrad Ludlow, Claire Bataille, John Gardner and Glenda Carhart. Morgan began her professional career at 17 years old with the Suzanne Farrell Ballet.. She went on to join Nashville Ballet’s second company, regularly performing with the main company. She then danced for Madison Ballet in Wisconsin. Since returning to Southern California, Morgan has danced with Kenneth Walker Dance Project and is currently dancing with Intersect Dance Theatre.

Debra Kaye owned & operated her own successful studio for over 30 years here in Riverside. She has taught Master Classes at UCI, Debbie Reynolds Studios, DIA, and DMA. She assisted Gus Giordano, Paul DeRolf, Jim Taylor amongst others in Master classes and seminars. Debra has also choreographed several popular musicals. She belongs to several major dance associations including the Cecchetti Council of America. With a strong background in ballet, she is able to give our students the discipline and drive to further their technique with the benefits of ballet training. She is stern yet caring and helps every student grow within their dancing ability.
Liz Kent-Jagdeo, Ballet & Lyrical
Liz was R.A.D. trained in classical ballet at the Academy of Dance in Orange County, CA, under the direction of Merle Sepel. Merle is one of the few USA certified judges and examiners of RAD (Royal Academy of Dancing). For five summers (1995-1999), Liz attended the American Academy of Ballet Summer Intensive Program in New York. During the years she performed and placed with the top score of “Gold with Distinction” at AAB’s Performance Awards. At 11, Liz got her first job; after she was selected for the San Francisco’s Ballet Company production of the Nutcracker. In 1997, Liz moved to Japan for 6 months where she was touring with Brian Loftus, working for various ballet companies; while going to school and still training for RAD. At 16, Liz began to take classes in other dance styles other than ballet. She was also introduced to the world of competitive dance teams and dance competitions. This is when she fell in love with jazz and lyrical and put her pointe shoes down for awhile. She auditioned for Woodbridge High School's dance team and made it. Liz danced there for 2 years under the coaching of Becky Walsh and Dennis Caspary. Dennis is now the owner of 2 Days in OC Dance Convention and Countdown Dance competition. After high school, Liz auditioned for Orange Coast College Dance Team and was one of 1 out of thousands to be selected. She was coached by Dan Sapp, well known choreographer/coach and championship title leader. He has won countless first place overall victories on the college and high school level. At Orange Coast, he consecutively won 1st place at Nationals from 1995 to 2005 and coached the best teams in the nation. In 2002 and 2003 , Liz and her dance team won 1st place at UDA’s Nationals in Florida and 1st place at USA Nationals in Las Vegas. After OCC, Liz began to shift her focus to school and moved to San Diego. She started dancing at Palomar Community College, with Molly Faulkner (PHD) and Steven Hook (ABT). She received her AA degree from Palomar and transferred to University of Irvine (UCI) for dance and then to Cal State San Marcos; where she received her BA in Social Work. In the last decade, Liz has been teaching all around the San Diego, Riverside, and Orange County area at various studios such as San Marcos Ballet School, New West Ballet School, Georgia’s, Cast Academy of Dance and Limitless Dance. Liz i lyrical, jazz, technique, ballet, teams, choreography, special needs and workout / conditioning. Her students range from beginning to advanced levels. Liz’s choreography received top level scoring and place in the top 10 at competitions such as Creation Dance, Rainbow, Spotlight, and KAR. Some of her most advanced students, whom she has trained, have won 1st overalls at regional Dance Competitions for solos. For the past 10 years, Liz teaches unique classes that are close to her heart including special needs classes and dance classes for troubled teens in various group homes throughout riverside county. These classes are rewarding experiencing for the students, Liz, and everyone involved. Liz was also the owner of Limitless Dance from 2011-2015. Liz is very proud and excited to be apart of the staff at Bowen-Hayes School of the Arts & the Inland Empire Contemporary Ballet, Inc. & is ready to get to work!!

Tommy Miller is signed with one of the top Choreography and Dance agencies in Los Angeles, Clear Talent Group. With his father being a choreographer for artists such as Michael Jackson, Usher, Britney Spears, and Beyonce, he was raised in the entertainment industry and flourished into a natural at his craft. He has since been training and progressing in various styles of dance, specializing in Hip-Hop. Tommy has danced for artists such as Mary J. Blige, OutKast, Raven Symone, Big Boi, and Tiffany Evans. He is a union member of SAG-AFTRA. Tommy has appeared in numerous television shows and live performances including, The Kids Choice Awards, The Halo Awards, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, That's So Raven, Little Caesars Commercial, Nick Kids, Disney XD, Wild and Crazy Kids, Tarzan 2 Promo, and is most recently appearing in Disney's “Shake It Up”, too name a few. Tommy has taught at numerous dance studios and companies around the country including, International Dance Academy, Boogiezone, Muse Dance Company, In The Groove Studios, Elite Studio of Dance, Dance Connection, Steps Dance Center, Jayvee Dance Center, Just Plain Dancin’, and many more!
Maria Palencia-Quiroa Princess Ballet & Ballet
Maria has trained in various forms of dance such as ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, modern, and lyrical for over 15 years. Studying under the direction of; Nicole Atlas-Robinson, Jamie Azpeitia-Sachs, Ron Cocking, Denise Donovan, Jeanne Samuels- Davis, Anthony Loa, Carole Lynne, Arian Ramos, Rosa Rodriguez, and Nancy Sample. Most recently, Maria trained under Jamie Azpeitia-Sachs as an understudy with the Inland Empire Contemporary Ballet, and was immediately offered a full time company position for the following season. Since joining IECB, Maria is excited to teach with the City of Riverside School of the Arts as well as Bowen-Hayes School of the Arts.

Arian Ramos began her dance training with Inland Dance Academy at the age of 5 where she trained in classical ballet for 12 years under Ms. Evette-Demarco Swinson. While attending IDA, she was part of the Inland Dance Theater Company and danced in “The Nutcracker” for 11 years. She took on various roles like Arabian Soloist and the much sought after Snow Queen. Arian has been accepted into the Boston Ballet summer dance program and competed in the Youth American Grand Prix where her studio’s group dance “Kami No Rei” was selected to attend the New York finals. Arian has a strong ballet background but also has worked in other styles such as jazz, contemporary, and hip hop, under Quincy & Rachel Jacinto.

Sydney began training in ballet at the age of 4 at Inland Dance Academy with Giselle Demarco. Sydney began training in tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, swing, salsa, contemporary, and Musical Theater by the age of 6 with Bowen-Hayes School of the Arts. Since then, Sydney has trained with Julio Padilla, Jamie Azpeitia-Sachs, Debra Kaye, Anthony Jackson, & Juan Uribe on a regular basis. Sydney has attended ballet summer intensives with Inland Pacific Ballet, Inland Dance Academy, Corona Dance Academy, Maple Conservator, Inland Empire Contemporary Ballet, & the Long Beach Ballet. Sydney has been accepted into the San Francisco Ballet, The Rock Center for Dance, Long Beach Ballet, the Kirov, and has taken workshops with; Tommy Miller, Jerry Kokich, Anton Labushagne, Charmaine Hunter, Kelly Lameroux, Evette Demarco-Swinson, & Eliezer Rubello, and the Portland Ballet. Sydney has appeared in IDT's the Nutcracker, and California Riverside Ballet's the Nutcracker under the direction of Mario Nugara. In 2015, Sydney was an inductee into the Riverside Thespian Association, and was named one of Riverside's most remarkable teens for 2015 by the Riverside Youth Council & the Riverside Police Department. As an Apprentice, she is well varsed in all forms of the performing arts, and co-captain of Bowen-Hayes School of the Arts Dance Team.
